一、课程性质、目的和要求
课程性质::大学英语(一)是高等学校一门重要的必修基础《大学英语(一)》教学大纲
制定依据:本大纲根据教育部《大学英语课程教学要求》(2007)以及长沙学院本科人才培养方案制定
课,适用于所有非英语专业本科学生(不含艺术专业)一年级上学期的英语学习。
课程目的:本课程以英语语言知识与应用技能、跨文化交际为主要教学内容,注重培养学生在听、说、读、写、译各方面运用英语的能力,使学生能用英语有效地进行口头和书面信息交流。
课程要求:本课程设有精读、泛读和听力共48学时,期末全校统考。
1,听力理解能力:能大体听懂英语讲课,对题材熟识,句子结构简单、基本上没有生词、语速每分钟约100词的听力材料,1-2遍可以听懂,能运用基本的听力技巧。
2,口语表达能力:能回答课堂提问,能用常用词汇和句型与同学进行简单讨论,能就所熟悉的话题经准备后做简短发言,能掌握基本会话策略。
3,阅读理解能力:能运用学到的词汇和语法结构正确理解与课文难度相仿的文章,阅读速度达每分钟40词。阅读难度略低的文章,速度达到每分钟70词。
4,书面表达能力:能运用学到的词汇和语法结构组词成句。
5,翻译能力:能够用所学词汇和结构进行简单的英汉互译,以短句翻译为重点。

三、教学方式、重点和难点
教学方式: 用联想生成教学方法促进学生新旧知识的交融,注重培养学生用联想和推测来填补空挡的思维方式,以提问和讨论为主,注重师生互动.
重点和难点:词汇;语法;句型;课文理解;每个级别相对应的听说读写译技巧
四、教学内容、课时安排
课时安排:本学期总学时为48学时,其中综合为24学时(每周2学时),听力12学时每周1学时),阅读12学时(每周1学时)。课堂上的时间与课下的时间分配为1:2,即每个学生每周课堂上4学时需要课下8学时来预习和复习。

笔试和口试。(笔试成绩占总成绩的70%,口试成绩占总成绩的10%,平时成绩占总成绩的20%)《大学英语》I为100分制,60分为及格线,不及格者重修。
